What is Invisalign?
These are clear series of aligners, much like retainersm that will correct your teeth positioning over time. They use grooves that are slightly straighter than your teeth to apply corrective pressure. This replaces the need for metal wires while achieving the same goal.
iTero Element®
Before we can craft your perfectly fitted aligners, we'll need to scan your mouth. At Dee for Dentist, we use the iTero Element® to gather a crystal-clear 3D rendering to create your aligners.
You'll wear each aligner for one or two weeks before swapping it for the next in the series. While you won't completely cut out follow-up visits, the progress check-ins are a lot less frequent.
The only time these should be out of your mouth is while you eat. The goal is to have them in for 22 hours a day to achieve optimal results as quickly as possible. This means that you can continue to snack on your favorite crunchy, sticky, and chewy foods.
